This newsletter was a collaboration with another designer working at the Outdoor Program. He did the drawing and coloring of the characters in their various winter activities. I did the Photoshop work with the ocean, clouds, and iceberg (including the type on the iceberg). I did the type in Illustrator as well as the initial coloring of the iceberg. Then I imported everything into Photoshop and applied a displacement map onto the type to create a jagged carved effect.
It’s a decidedly different look from my usual illustration style, but I really enjoyed working on it.
