Ahh, camping!
The cover of the Fall 2007 newsletter was put together primarily in Photoshop with typography done in Illustrator. It’s a montage of two different images, the mountains and the campfire. I was trying for a “right at sunset” effect with the light on only the caps of the mountains and darkness everywhere else. I don’t know if it was read that way, but it did make for a fun design, especially with the type right in the middle of the image.
