Now that I’m graduated, I don’t have the Federal cash flow I once did. (Actually I owe about $20 K for student loans. Not as bad as it could be.) So that means my liquor cabinet doesn’t get refilled as often as I’d like. But I just rediscovered my RTF file of mixed drink recipes and I thought I’d share a quick and relatively cheap drink.

Throw a couple cubes of ice into an old fashioned glass and mix:

2 oz. gin
2 oz. sloe gin
splash lemon juice
top with orange juice

It doesn’t really compare with the original Singapore Fling. (Which for some reason hasn’t yet been transferred over from my old site. I’ll have to remedy that soon.) But if all you can afford is a bottle of gin and a bottle of sloe gin, and you forgot to stock up on tonic, this is an awesome little drink.
