Try and Be Cool
This is an illustration I did for a local neighborhood pool in Eugene, Oregon. I was actually one of the volunteers who helped clean up the grounds around the pool a few years ago when the community wanted to reopen the pool. One of my friends is on the community board for the pool, and he hooked me up with a project to stimulate the local economy with a film project. You can see that info here: Try and Be Cool.

I drew the illustration with the idea that it was going to be used for the film project. Oops! It’s no big deal though because the illustration stands on its own just fine. Plus, even without the characters or the background, it’s still a fantastic image. I’m very happy with it.
