What'll it be, hon?
The first “victim” of Deborah Jean Palfrey’s phone list turned out to be Republican Senator David Vitter of Louisiana. Palfrey is known around the Hill as “The D.C. Madam” and she recently released her epic list of phone numbers of her clients. Well, the phone number of the Bible thumpin’ Senator was on that list and all I can say to Vitter is, “You big, fat, fucking hypocrite!”
This is the same Senator Vitter who was oh so very outspoken in demanding the resignation of President Clinton when Clinton got a BJ in the Oval Office. He chastised Clinton for having an affair even though he himself, a married man, solicited prostitutes in D.C. and in Louisiana.
But will Vitter resign as a consequence of his own indiscretions? Fuck no! He’s a Republican don’cha know, and thus he’s not required to be held accountable for his actions in the same way that a Democrat would. Besides, he’s not only square with his wife (a wife who once threatened to take a little piece of his cookie if she ever found out he had an affair), but he’s square with God as well.
When questioned, God said absolutely nothing on the subject. (As you know, God doesn’t like answering questions.)
Another facet of Senator Vitter’s hypocrisy is the fact that he’s a very vocal opponent of gay marriage. He says gays getting wed would destroy the sanctity of the institution of marriage. Well Senator, I have to say you managed to destroy the sanctity of your marriage all by yourself. (But again, since he’s a Republican, he’s not accountable for his own actions. So he and his ilk get to blame us, the queers.)
