The weather was beautiful and the hike was a delight, but the lighting was just awful. I only took 47 photos, and these three were the only relatively decent ones out of them. Oh well. I’ll have another chance for photography tomorrow when I go to Proxy Falls.

I actually shot this photo back in October shortly after I bought my camera. It was the first photo with my new Nikon D80 and I was very happy with the way it turned out.

Maybe if you’re lucky, I’ll post the XMP file.

Bicyclicious!

This is perhaps the most insane cover ever made in the history of the Outdoor Program. I had an absolute blast working on it. Before I graduated, I wanted to try my hand at a retro 1970s style newsletter cover. The photos were all taken by me on my Nikon D80 digital SLR and then tweaked in Photoshop with a gradient map. Then I put everything together in Adobe Illustrator.
